Greater Harvest Church was founded by Pastor George C. Evans, Jr.
In June of 2000 founding Pastor George Evans and First Lady Sandra Evans opened up their home for our first service. There were fourteen people in attendance... Throughout the next couple of years, as the Lord blessed the ministry, weekly services were held. We continued to trust God for a Greater Harvest.
In January of 2015, we moved into our very own free standing building at 4080 Acme Dr. Fairfield, OH.
1. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2. We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God.
3. We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and must be born again of the Spirit through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
4. We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead.
5. We believe that the Holy Spirit equips believers for personal growth and service in the church.
6. We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
7. We believe in the Lord Supper and washing of the saints feet.
8. We believe holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.
9. We believe that divine healing is included in God's plan for Salvation.
10. We believe in tithing, and giving to be the sole scriptural means of supporting God's cause on earth.
11. We believe in the resurrection: eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the unrighteous.
